Accommodation

• We have reserved 23 rooms (own bathroom/WC) for this workshop for the dates "13-20 July 2019" at University Hotel (find it on openstreetmap). A single person in a 2-person standard or deluxe room pays only the cost of 1 person in a single standard or deluxe (respectively) room. The cost including local taxes will be in the range 100-155 PLN per person per night, as indicated on the hotel website. Once your participation in the workshop is accepted, we will provide a password to reserve a room on a first come first served basis until 21 June 2019, while rooms are available. Many other pleasant options are available in and near the Old Town.

Local transport

Hired transport (hereafter, a/the "shuttle") will pick up participants at two pick up points:

• at 08:20 on Monday, and at 08:50 on Tues/Wed/Thur/Friday, at Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics, NCU immediately north of the Old Town
• about 10 mins later, at University Hotel, a short walk further north.

and take everyone to TCfA/Radioastronomy Dept, just a little north of Toruń; a hired bus will take you back to the same two drop off points each evening.

If you miss the shuttle in the morning, a taxi would probably cost you about 40–50 PLN or so, or 120 PLN if the driver wants to get some cash out of foreigners; say "Pivnitse — teleskop — Sentroum Astronomii" and you will probably get to TCfA. If you miss the evening shuttle, then you can return at 18:08 by a bus taking 40 mins to get to Toruń or find someone with a car driving back to Toruń at a convenient time.
