i just checked our status page with A&A:

25/02/2004  pre-registration
26/02/2004  submission being registered
27/02/2004  searching for a referee
03/05/2004  searching for a referee
05/05/2004  sent to referee 1

So it took two months to find a referee! And the referee has now had
just one week to look at the paper.
