there is a nice tool called 'glade' which helps making gui in GTK+ (Gimp
Toolkit) and GNOME - linking with your own functions is simple. I am not
sure if there is a f77 wrapper for gtk+ ;) - there is not as I have just
checked.
but we can always make a front-end in c and link it to the rest of the
soft - this should be simple.
